APPLICATION

SINGLE AXLE CARAVANS

The HUBLOCK disc and stand replaces one of the caravan's wheels.

SEASONAL PITCHES AND WINTER STORAGE.

Both wheels are removed and replaced with stands, the HUBLOCK disc is required one side only.

The HUBLOCK disc can be fitted both sides if preferred.

Caravan wheels are often removed during winter storage to prevent tyre damage, fitting the HUBLOCK allows this without compromising your caravan's security.

TWIN AXLE CARAVANS

Two units are required on twin axle caravans, both units being fitted on the same side.

For seasonal pitches and winter storage, four stands and two hub lock discs can be used.

SIZES

The JSB HUBLOCK is suitable for ALKO and BPW chassis.

4 stud x 100mm PCD with M12 x 1.5 fixing bolts.

5 stud x 112mm PCD with M12 x 1.5 fixing bolts.

Four security bolts are used on 4 stud and 5 stud hubs.

One hole is omitted on the 5 stud disc. (See picture)

AXLE STANDS

AL-KO recommend the use of axle stands if a caravan is in long term storage. This is not a hard and fast rule but a recommendation to extend the correct working life of the rubber suspension system. The axle should be lifted and placed on axle stands, allowing the arms to fall to an angle of 20 degrees below horizontal.

Our recommendation is to remove the wheels which should be stored away from the caravan in a horizontal position and covered to give UV protection. The JSB HUBLOCK disc and stand should now be fitted, allowing 90% of the load to be supported on the axle stands. This will give better stability and maintain the ULTIMATE SECURITY provided by the JSB HUBLOCK.
