TESTING

The HUBLOCK was tested by Sold Secure gaining the coveted GOLD AWARD, the industry benchmark.

These tests cover methods used by opportunist thieves, they DO NOT include oxyacetylene cutting gear now commonly used by professional thieves.

To resist these more extreme methods we have carried out our own tests, with professional engineers using a range of heavy industrial equipment in workshop conditions and with no time restrictions.

Workshop tests using heavy duty oxyacetylene cutting equipment proved the HUBLOCK to be secure for more than 35 minutes. With it's high thermal mass, prolonged attemts to burn off the HUBLOCK resulted in the destruction of the bearings and immobilisation of the hub assembly.

Burning tests were carried out in workshop conditions with the HUBLOCK mounted on a suitable jig.

Further tests were carried out, with welding and drilling proving ineffective, and resistance to a Stihl saw was in excess of 3 hours.

We believe these tests prove the JSB HUBLOCK to be the ULTIMATE in Caravan Security.
